Project Description: Scope of project includes all work required to:
1. Replace the entire line up in the Control Room of the DC, preferred AC and 480V circuits. This is physically one large cubical. Switchgears 11, 12, and 13, located on the same drawing have already been replaced and are not a part of this scope.
2. Relocate the 480V breakers to the floor below and provide remote control and status in the control room per specifications.
3. A short section of the main feeder wires will need to be replaced as they come into the new MCC and Panels. In past projects at other dams the feeder wires were brittle and insulation broke when they were bent for the new equipment requiring the last 30 feet of feeder wire to be replaced from new terminal blocks located on the floor directly below the control room to the new panels.
Optional Work
1. Replace the 16 lighting panels located in the powerhouse. See drawing 83E232A and (83E1501A.2 items in red). Note: six (6) of 16 panels are 120V AC panels with the DC contractor for emergency lighting. These will be isolated from the AC portion in each panel. The DC Contactors will be located on the wall in a panel beside the AC or inside the cutout in a separate box above an off-the-shelf 120V AC panel. The other 10 of 16 are 120/240 AC only panels. The ampacity of the lighting panels has been reduced due to lower loads. See specifications for the details and ampacity of each panel.
2. Replace the 12 lighting transformers for the associated lighting panels.
3. Remove the voltage regulator and install a new conductor for this circuit. Work shall be in accordance with specifications issued with this solicitation.

The Contractor will be required to commence work upon receipt of contract award and complete the work 600 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed, this is subject to change after solicitation issuance.
