Description


The Bureau of Reclamation, Columbia-Cascades Area Office has a requirement for a security guard at 1917 Marsh Road, Yakima, WA. This address covers the Columbia-Cascades Area Office (CCAO), Yakima Field Office (YFO), the Roza Power Plant, and an area east of the Roza Wasteway. The complex is secured by perimeter fencing and has limited means of access through monitored and/or locked access points.

This acquisition is 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES. We anticipate issuing a Request for Quotes (RFQ) by January 22, 2024, but all dates in this notice are subject to change. Any amendments applicable to the solicitation will be posted at the same site.

The Government anticipates awarding a single, firm-fixed price contract with a base year and up to four (4) option years. The period of performance will depend on the actual award date, but the anticipated period of performance is:

Base Year: April 1, 2025 - March 31, 2026
Option Year 1: April 1, 2026 - March 31, 2027
Option Year 1: April 1, 2027 - March 31, 2028
Option Year 1: April 1, 2028 - March 31, 2029
Option Year 1: April 1, 2029 - March 31, 2030

Pricing shall be provided for all five (5) years.

Under the authority of 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services, the Government may require continued performance up to six months after completion of the base and all option years.

The anticipated date to issue the Request for Quote, 140R1725Q0025, (written) is approximately the third week of January 2025. The anticipated closing date is the last week of February 2025. The anticipated award date is the last week of March 2025. Prospective vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at the time a quote is submitted.

This requirement will be purchased in accordance with FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13.5, simplified acquisition procedures apply. The Government will evaluate quotes based on factors listed in the solicitation.
