Description:

This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This acquisition will be made in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 “Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and solicitation for commercial Items,” as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation (a written solicitation will not be issued) and quotes are being requested. The Solicitation number is RFQ-NIAID-25-2259706 and the solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ).

This acquisition will be processed under FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2025-03 January 17, 2025.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 811310, Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance, with a small business size standard of $12.5 million. The requirement is being competed full and open competition, with a small business set-aside.

The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) has a requirement for:

MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT FOR MULTIPLE AUTOCLAVES AND OTHER EQUIPMENT

Period of Performance: 5/12/2025 - 5/11/2026

Equipment needing coverage:

• (1) Lancer Model# 1600 LXP S/N: 9G064258 (Washer)

• (1) Consolidated Model# PT-SR-24E-S-V S/N: 120522 (Autoclave)

• (1) Consolidated Model# X1-SR-24D-S-V S/N: 113022 (Autoclave)

• (1) Consolidated Model# SR-24F-S-V S/N: 122022 (Autoclave)

• (1) Reimers Model# RH60 S/N: 130129 (Steam Generator)

These services will include the following:

Number of PM Services: This contract also includes Four (4) preventive maintenance inspections.

Filter Replacements: The water filters on all three autoclaves are replaced quarterly, for a total of 12 Filters.

Number of Emergency Services: Additionally, Four (4) emergency service visits interchangeable between units.

Emergency service guaranteed to begin within 12 hours of customer’s call.

Parts for the (4) PM’s a year to be included in the contract price

*All work must be completed at each PM visit per the Scope of Work attachment.
