AMD 0003 - This amendment incorporates Project Labor Agreement (PLA) requirements into Section 00 73 00 and Section 00 70 00 in FAR clauses 52.222-33 'Notice of Requirement for Project Labor Agreement Alternate I" and 52.222-34 'Project Labor Agreement'.

Due to the material nature of PLA requirements, the Step 1 proposal due date is extended to 17 June 2025 at 2:00 PM local time. New interested offerors may submit Step 1 proposals for consideration.

Interested offerors who have already submitted Step 1 proposals can let their proposal stand or submit a revised proposal by the due date/time. Any proposal revision should be highlighted or annotated in some manner that shows the change from the original proposal. Interested offerors who have already submitted Step 1 proposals will not be informed of their preliminary evaluation results.

The contracting officer will host a web meeting on 13 June 2025 at 1:00 PM local time to discuss the PLA topic. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Omaha District, hereby announces the solicitation for The Missouri River Levee R562 Repair.  The solicitation will close on 9 May 2025. The solicitation is restricted to Small Businesses.   

Site Visit:

A Site Visit is scheduled and additional information regarding the site visit is provided in the solicitation via FAR Clause 52.236-27.   The site visit is scheduled for 6 May 2025 at 0900 CST.

Project Description: 

Missouri River Levee R562 Repairs include a combination of structural repair alternatives. The levee repairs include filling scour holes in the severely damaged levee sections, repairing critical levee sections, repairing crest damages, repairing riverside/landside erosion, rehabilitating relief wells, and replacing damaged drainage structures and pipes. May also require incidental material movement to facilitate floating plant access. The work will be in the general vicinity  in/on/around/adjacent to the Missouri Riverbed and banks Peru, NE.

The Contractor will be required to commence work upon receipt of contract award and complete the work 547 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed, this is subject to change after solicitation issuance.

The estimated construction cost of this project is between $25,000,000 and $50,000,000.
